When you use this technique you are not only aligning your heart and brain. You are aligning all of your metabolic pathways.

You are harmonizing every organ and system in your body as everything is connected.

1..Close your eyes.  Slowly and gently breathe in and out through your nose.  We will be watching the breath for a few minutes so please get comfortable and breathe in and out gently. Notice the breath, witness it, observe it but do not try to change it. Now let your awareness move from your thinking brain into your feeling heart. Slowly & gently breathe into your heart space. Gently touch your heart center. This allows you to more easily move your awareness into your heart. Stay here for a few minutes or for all long as you like.

2..Slow your breathing.  Allow the exhalation to be longer than the inhalation (ratio 8:5 or whatever feels comfortable).  Feel the gentle shift in your body.

3..Imagine a positive uplifting feeling throughout your body.  Feel gratitude, pause and give thanks for our many blessings……………

“Thank-you for all the good things in my life, my family, my health, my friends, etc”. It is this feeling of gratitude that triggers the coherence between the heart and the brain.

When we utilize this technique, “heart / brain meditation”, we are harmonizing our heart and our brain. This is known as heart / brain coherence. It is the unity and integration of mind, body and spirit. It is when our thoughts, intentions and actions smoothly align. They come together for our greater good, for our highest and best. This heart/brain coherence opens the door to a direct link to our subconscious. It is a hot line, a direct link.

Do not be deceived by the simplicity of this technique. Spirituality and science are beginning to come together. Baby steps, but it is a start.

Science has shown us that these three simple steps have been refined from thousands of years of human experience.

This is a combination of science and spirituality.
